Li Tie Qiao (born 1973) is an outstanding representative of the new generation of saxophone players in China. He mostly engages in free improvisation projects, with various musicians. In his improvisation he bravely experiment in search for a new expression between the boarders of jazz, rock and electronic noise. In his improvisation he always expresses freedom, braveness and a willingness to follow his heart. A great number of musical critics in China have claimed that Li Tie Qiao is the first exceptional free jazz musician in the country.
He moved to Norway in 2005 and was warmly welcomed by a number of Norwegian musicians. During his time in Norway he have played with Paal Nilssen-Love,Ingebrigt Håker Flaten,Maja Ratkje ,Ketil Gutvik,Rolf-Erik Nystrøm etc.

Alex Gunia: Gitarist, produsent, bandleder og låtskriver fra Tyskland. Lang fartstid innen jazz og elektronisk musikk. Alex har gitt ut flere plater, både i eget navn og på andres utgivelser, der han bidrar som gitarist, produsent og komponist. Alex har et eget plateselskap ”JazzSick-records” med distribusjon over hele verden. Fra 1991 til 2006 drev han eget studio i Tyskland og produserte for større og mindre plateselskaper, tv- og radiostasjoner. Alex Gunia deltar på mer enn hundre cd`er og har laget musikk til en rekke reklamer, tv-produksjoner og trailere.
Alex har tidligere samarbeidet med forskjellige musikere som Randy Brecker, Billy Cobham, Nils Petter Molvær, Bugge Wesseltoft, Ole Morten Vaagan og Kjetil Møster. Alex bor i Oslo og har for tiden en konsertserie der han har invitert og spilt med flere etablerte norske musikere som Per Zanussi, Kjetil Møster, Peter Baden, Knut Sævik, m.m. Alex underviser også og holder ”masterclasses” ved jazzlinjen på Musikkhøyskolen og ”workshops” på NISS.

Tore Brevik was born in aalesund, a small town on the west coast of Norway. He started taking drum lessons and got his first drumkit at the age of six from his uncle who used to be a professional drummer.
Tore moved to the US in 1991 to pursue his studies. He earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree at Berklee in 1996 and his Masters of fine Arts degree from California institute of the Arts in 1999.
Tore moved back to Norway in 2000 and has since then played with many of the greatest musicians in Norway and Europe. He has since then toured the US, Scandinavia and most of Europe and played on a great number of records as well as on commercials and TV programs.
